Introduction

Home Mission Sunday 2015

Home Mission Sunday takes place on 20 September 2015. It's the day in the Church's calendar when the Catholic community in England and Wales is invited to pray for, celebrate and support the work of evangelisation in England and Wales. The theme of this year’s Sunday is 'Proclaim God’s Mercy’.

Liturgical materials to support the celebration of the day will be provided shortly.

The Bishops ask that a mandatory second collection is taken in parishes on this day to support the work of evangelisation in England and Wales.

Closer to the day, we'll be providing further resources from the Proclaim '15 National Evangelisation Conference.
