Here you will find three evangelisation-themed sessions for use in small groups in our parishes.
The sessions are timeless so can be used any time during 2015 and beyond to initiate prayer and reflection about the foundation stones of Catholic evangelisation.
Each session includes a story, questions to ponder, a Scripture reading, prayer and extract from Evangelii Gaudium.
The materials aim to inspire a practical and local response to the call to share our faith.
The three sessions plus guidance notes on how to use these materials are provided in a simple format to facilitate easy and low-cost printing.

FOR INSPIRATION: POPE FRANCIS
“The parish is the presence of the Church in a given territory, an environment for hearing God’s word, for growth in the Christian life, for dialogue, proclamation, charitable outreach, worship and celebration. In all its activities the parish encourages and trains its members to be evangelisers. It is a community of communities, a sanctuary where the thirsty come to drink in the midst of their journey, and a centre of constant missionary outreach. We must admit, though, that the call to review and renew our parishes has not yet sufficed to bring them nearer to people, to make them environments of living communion and participation, and to make them completely mission-oriented.” Evangelii Gaudium 28
Proclaim ’15: Small group materials lead team member: Fr Philip Inch, Archdiocese of Liverpool
Proclaim ’15 is being coordinated by the Bishops’ Conference Home Mission Desk which is as an instrument of the Department for Evangelisation and Catechesis. The Department is chaired by Bishop Mark O’Toole, Plymouth.
