Today's Middle East Analysis is a little different as the focus again falls on the Pope's three-day visit to the Holy Land.

Dr Harry Hagopian, our MENA Consultant, has a bit of previous having played a major part in planning Saint John Paul II's jubilee pilgrimage to the Holy Land in 2000.

In this podcast we look back on the key moments of Pope Francis's visit by way of a handful of extended soundbites.

  • A bridge-builder in Jordan, Palestine and Israel - not a politician
  • Meeting with the Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew I
  • Iconic moments
  • Meeting refugees from the Syria civil war
  • Meeting Presidents of Palestine and Israel in Rome
