The penultimate podcast in our series The Art of Christ's Passion continues the Holy Week story using paintings in the National Gallery’s world-famous collection.
Each day during Holy Week we joined Dr James Hanvey, a Jesuit expert in art and culture, and Fr Christopher Whitehead, Clifton Diocese's Director of Adult Education and Evangelisation as they reflected on eight thought-provoking paintings.
This podcast looked at the painting 'The Dead Christ Mourned' by Annibale Carracci.
You can find out more about this work of art on the National Gallery’s excellent website .
The Art of Christ’s Passion is a joint production with the Clifton Diocese. Visit its award-winning website cliftondiocese.com .
