Archbishop Vincent Nichols, President of the Catholic Bishops' Conference of England and Wales gave the Inaugural Thomas More Lecture, 7 December, and took his inspiration from Pope Benedict XVI's 2010 speech at Westminster Hall. Archbishop Nichols echoed the Holy Father's words for the title of the lecture: "Faith in God is not a problem to be solved, but a vital part of the national conversation".
