Pope Benedict XVI’s book Jesus of Nazareth released

The Pope’s new book Jesus of Nazareth was released in Rome on Monday 16 April in Polish, Italian and German. The English language version will be available in the UK on 15 May 2007. It's a hardback book with an expected retail price of £14.99.

Jesus of Nazareth is the first part of a two-volume work. This first volume examines the public life of Christ from his Baptism in the River Jordan to the Transfiguration.

The Right Reverend Crispian Hollis, Bishop of Portsmouth has asked all the parishes in the Portsmouth diocese to remember the people of Zimbabwe in their prayers, and especially on the weekend of April 14th and 15th – a Day of Prayer and Fasting for Zimbabwe.
