Another set of images from May 2014.

May 2014

It's Tuesday of the second week of Advent. Today's calendar window opens again on the month of May in our photo retrospective looking back on the events of 2014.

We stay with the celebrations in Birmingham and Liverpool as both dioceses welcome new bishops. Bishop Robert Byrne, new auxiliary Bishop for Birmingham, takes centre stage for our main image - happily greeting well-wishers at his episcopal ordination.

Archbishop Malcolm McMahon has his photograph taken with a parishioner outside his cathedral, we look at a special Mass celebrated by Cardinal Cormac Murphy-O'Connor at Fisher House, Cambridge University Catholic Chaplaincy, and feature an image of one of our Catholic interns.
