January 2014 - Continued

Today, Monday of the first week of Advent sees us open the second window on our Advent Calendar. The focus, again, is January 2014.

As highlighted yesterday, the Episcopal Ordination of the Rt Rev Mark O'Toole as Bishop of Plymouth was a highlight of the month.

Bishop Declan Lang and his English-speaking brother bishops from around the world spent the first week of January in the Holy Land in a solidarity visit to support the local Church and the Christians of the region. The Holy Land Co-ordination took the bishops into Gaza and to the Cremisan Valley, near Bethlehem.
