Bishop Michael Campbell

The Rt Rev Michael Campbell OSA is a Bishop representative at the Evangelisation Synod in Rome. Bishop Campbell is the Bishop of Lancaster. Before travelling to the Holy See, he shared his personal reflections on the Lancaster diocesan website.

"During these weeks in Rome I would also hope that the Synod Fathers would affirm in their faith those countless Catholics whose daily lives, often humble, unspectacular, and hidden, are marked by fidelity, goodness and devotion to the Lord and his Church. Such an affirmation would acknowledge the presence of God’s grace and the truly incarnational nature of their apparently ordinary lives. Their lives are Christian witness writ large!"
