Westminster Diocese: Archbishop Nichols will lead the opening session of ‘You Believe’.

This is a monthly celebration of faith, catechesis, prayer and worship. The session will be celebrated at St Aloysius Church at 7pm. The Archbishop will give a catechesis on faith and belief in the world today. The event is open to all students of sixth form age, and young adults. The event will also mark the beginning of the work of the new Centre for Youth Ministry.

Ordinariate: Day conference on mission and evangelization

Inspired by the Year of Faith, which opened this week, the Personal Ordinariate of Our Lady of Walsingham is hosting a one day conference on mission and evangelisation for members and supports of Pope Benedict’s vision for the reunion of Anglicans with the See of Peter.

The conference takes place on Friday 9 November 2012 from 11.00 a.m. to 4.30 p.m.

Blessed John Paul II wrote extensively on human love and intimate relationships, and this teaching has come to be known as the "Theology of the Body". American theologian Revd Sam Medley SOLT will be offering two presentations of John Paul II's thinking at the Pastoral Centre 10 am - 3 pm on Friday 23rd November and again on Saturday 24th (to 3.30 pm).

All are welcome and there is no charge - please bring packed lunch, hot drinks will be provided.
